JUANITA MILLER

Miller, Juanita, 86, Savannah Georgia passed away surrounded by her loved ones Thursday, March 5, 2009. Retired from Candler hospital as a veteran of 20 years and was employed and affiliated with the Savannah Association for the Blind. Her husband, William S. Miller the love of her life, her parents, Charles O. Waters and Florence Swenson Waters, her brothers, Jack Waters, Teddy Waters, Collie Waters, an infant brother, and her sister Ila Waters, precedes her in death. Juanita was a life long member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of the Ascension where she was baptized and confirmed. She was a faithful Christian, and belonged to the Helen Shirk Circle that is responsible for many good works and fellowship. A widow for many years her dedication to her Church, raising her two sons', and selfless love for her family will be eternally remembered. She is survived by her two sons and their wives whom she considered her daughters, William Miller, Jr. and Sonja Herrington Miller and Charles B. Miller, and Stephanie Hallman Miller. She is also survived by her grandchildren whom she devoted her later years to, Charles "Bruce" Miller Jr., Adam Turner Miller, William Miller III "Trey", Laura Miller and Sheri Sponauer , 5 Great Grand Children and 4 Great great Grand Children. Funeral services will be held at the Evangelical Lutheran Church of the Ascension Tuesday, March 10th at 10:00 am. Visitation will be Monday, March 9th at Fox and Weeks, Hodgson Memorial Drive from 5:00 to 7:00 pm.
